2. HAWWARI BORAK I'm Borak Hawwari. I'm 16 years old. I live in Nazareth city, you know where the Jesus had his own adventures against his enemies, and don't forgot because he was dead there. I learn in the same location at Al-Galil high school. I love my city, how we say home sweet home got a wonderful family, consist of my parents of course, two sisters, two brothers, including me. Our roots are old, we live junction in the whole world, I mean my last name. I don't have no one of my grandparents, they say bye bye to life. This doesn't show that I'm alone, I got my own business to care about.
My culture, community and my religion got a long big history. My religion is Islam, my culture was the main controller of the world. I'm proud of being an Arabic one, because my own community guarantees to me the all needs, feeling, and freedom.
Of course I got habits and customs for my society, we got our own music, celebration, food, clothes, and finally the way we can handle life problems, and that's is a big advantage of being an Arabic. First music, our music got special Lyrical, lyrics, and voice. Second, celebration, we got two main holidays the " Eid Al-Fiter" and the " Eid Al-Adha", and other small celebrations during the year. Third, food, honestly it's the most delicious food will you ever taste, I advise you to eat our kind of food, examples: " Dwale", " Mlfof", " Area'", and a lot of kinds. Fourth, Clothes, we got separate ideas, like: people wear respectable, people wear like west side, different opinions that always being a misunderstanding when we argue. Fifth and finally, we are the only community that has one thing in common, and that thing goes for patients, kindness, respect, co-portion, mercy, love, more adjectives won't end. My folklore is unique, we got "Dabka: kind of groupie dance" , "Argele: kind of smoking" , " Megana: kind of folklore music", and more.
Ok, let's talk about my self as a person live in this life. My favorite person is LeBron James, and Usher Raymond. I learn kickboxing for seven years and I'm still in touch. I love street thing, like crazy basketball, RAP freestyles, break dancing… what I mean is the west side freestyles. I'm a good basketball player, I do many freestyles in it, what make me special from others that I'm fast. Rap music gives me nice mood to bounce this sweet life. Break dancing and hip hop is the perfect dance I always share it in my life. Of course I got more things to do, like sit on the computer, go hang up with dudes rather my girlfriend, T.V., …. What most thing in life I love is watching a NBA game, consequently I spend my time in basketball court to encourage my self. Eventually, I'm a person who never desperate of anything, because I got my own rules to control my life following the most sentence I believe is that " there's no anything impossible", a person never go down by his words.
I hope we start chatting … so see you'll out there

Dienstag, 22. Mai 2007
Meet the Jewish-Israeli delegation from Zvulun High School of Kibbutz Yagur
Accompanyinig teacher:
Mrs. OSNAT OKNIN

peacecamp-participants:

1.Amir Berman
My name is Amir Berman.
The meaning of my name in Hebrew is ‘treetop’ (the top of a tree), and in Arabic it is a ‘prince’.
I live in Qiryat Tivon (little city near Haifa).
I was born in the south part of Israel (August 5th 1992), and when I was eight years old my family and I left to the northern part of Israel.
Until five years ago we didn’t have T.V in our house. But five years ago my parents allowed us to bring a T.V with one condition: “The T.V will be used only to watch movies from the V.C.R and from the D.V.D, and the T.V will not be with TV channels”.
Since that, I had to find myself a new occupation - I started reading books (I like to read very much, especially fantasy books). I also play water-polo. I also like to watch movies and to build programs on the computer.
We are seven people in the family: my Dad (David), my Mom (Tsila), my oldest sister Meirav (she finished the army one year ago), my big sister Tamar (she serves in the army), my big sister Kama (she is in the eleventh grade) and my little sister Hadar (she is in the seventh grade).

2.Illy Auerbach
My name is Illy Auerbach
I live in Kiriat Tivon which is a small community between Haifa and Nazareth.
I had learned in Kiriat Tivon and moved to Carmel Zvulun (my present school) last year.
My father, Amir, is a supplier of aluminum and glass sheets. He grows plants in his greenhouse.
My mother, Anna, is a doctor – a family practitioner.
I have two bigger sisters. Aya, the eldest is twenty years old. She is a soldier in the Israeli army. She works in schools with students who need her help.
Hadas, eighteen years old, has recently enlisted too.
She will be in the computers unit.
We all have one pet. A small no breed female dog. Her name is Tooki and we found her one stormy winter looking for food and love.
My favorite subjects in school are History and Literature.
The things I like best are theatre, art (especially drawing and painting), reading and hanging around with my friends.
I am going to a youth movement - Hanoar Hoved Vehalomed.

I am happy to be here with you and am looking forward to what lies ahead.

3.Shir Nizan
I was born in Haifa but today I live in Kiryat Atta with my parents - Shulamit and Shauli, and my two little sisters – Shani who is 11 years old and Shaked who is 8 years old. I like cats and have always had some.

My hobbies are: reading, watching T.V, being with my friends and dancing.
The books I like the most are thrillers and novels. My favorite author is Dan Brown. I think thrillers books are much better than the movies, the story that you imagine is always more dangerous and interesting than it is on screen.
Dancing is something I do since early childhood. In the last 9 years of dancing I have experienced many different dancing styles including: classic ballet, modern dance, jazz, gymnastic, hip hop etc. Today I'm dancing mostly aerobic dance in a group which is called "Point". This group is a competitive group which won few prizes in Israel, and was supposed to go this summer to Austria for an international contest but it didn’t work out.
This year I joined as a member to the local youth movement in Nofit- "Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed", next year I am going to be a counselor for younger groups.

School description:

Our school’s name is Grg 17 Parhamergymnasium, named after it’s founder Mr. Parhamer. It is located in the 17th disctrict of Vienna. We offer 3 different school-tracks, namely, a bilingual track, a sports track for girls and a track focussing on sciences.
Our school provides a mixture of cultures and languages. Imagine, our students speak 35 different languages, only 60 % speak german at home, 40 % communicate in other languages. Also a lot of our teachers love to travel and experience other cultures. Our native-speakers from Canada, Australia, Scotland, Great Britain, etc. bring their native custumes and habits to our school as well. This year the whole school worked on a big project on culture, and we even got a prize for that. As you can see respect for others and a deeper understanding of other cultures is very important to us, that’s why we love the idea of a peacecamp which brings young people from different countries together.

Meet the Austrian delegation from
the Parhamer Gymnasium in Vienna
Accompanying teacher:
MRS. EVELYN SPONER

Hi, my name is Evelyn Sponer. I’m 29 years old, married and I’m a teacher for ethics and german in a viennese high school.
I love music, good books, being outside in the nature, surfing and discovering the world. I’m a very open person with a great interest for other cultures and people.

participating pupils:
1. N.N.
My name is N.N. and I am 15 years old. I have an older brother and I live a bit outside the city of Vienna where I go to the same school as the other peace-camp participants. My family and my friends are one of the most important things in my life.
I would discribe myself as an open and communicative person, who likes to be with lots of people, but sometimes needs time for herself.
In my free time I like riding horses, jogging, swimming, meeting my friends, reading, listening to my favourite music,.....

I decided to take part at the peace camp because I am really interested in other countries and cultures. Beside I think peace is a very important theme in our world and for our future.

2. LISA SCHWARZ

My name is Lisa Schwarz, I’m 15 years old and I come from Austria. I visit a bilingual school so I learn 3 other languages excluding english. I like swimming, snowboarding, reading, playing piano and being with my friends and my family. I decided to participate at the Peace Camp because I think that although there is no war in Europe (at the moment) it is still important to not take peace for granted and therefor do anything against war that’s possible.

3. LUCAS STATTIN
I am male, called Lucas Stattin, have long hair, wear glasses, weigh about 68,678910 12345678910kg and I am 182,12345678910cm tall. My hobbies are playing Frisbee, laughing, having all sorts of fun, listening and making music and of course my most important hobby: PLAYING THE DRUMS
And now I do not know what to write anymore.
